Serving Our Community
When the Phoenix House explosion displaced dozens of residents without their medications, Wedgewood Pharmacy stepped in to help. Late Saturday evening, volunteers at Austintown Elementary contacted us with an urgent need for prescription refills. Our team immediately opened after hours and began filling replacement medications written on-site by a nurse practitioner.
From blood pressure and diabetic medications to sleep aids and pain relief, our pharmacists — Brad Vaughn, Stephanie Miglets, AJ Ruiz, and Sara Conricote — worked from 7:30 p.m. until after midnight, filling 120 prescriptions for about 40 residents. These included single doses and seven-day supplies to ensure no one missed essential treatment.
We are grateful for the volunteers who delivered the medications back to the school and proud to support our community when it matters most.

Brad Vaughn
Rph
Brad is a third generation pharmacist and University of Toledo graduate with more than 23 years of community retail pharmacy experience. Finding solutions for patients and focusing on customer's health and medication needs has been a priority of mine for many years and a service that will continue for many more here at Wedgewood Pharmacy.
Stephanie Miglets
Staff Rph
Stephanie has been a licensed pharmacist for the past 19 years, graduating with a PharmD from LECOM School of Pharmacy in Erie, PA. She is currently a resident of Austintown and former Mooney grad with a passion for providing quality patient care. Stephanie previously worked for several years as the pharmacy manager at Kmart on Mahoning Ave.
Adam Jablonski
Staff Pharmacist
Adam has more than 20 years of retail pharmacy experience beginning with his undergrad degree at YSU and then earning his PharmD from Duquesne. He enjoys spending time with family (he has 2 little ones at home) and friends. He also loves being active outdoors, hiking and is continually being challenged to a game of one-on-one basketball by Ahmad.
Sara Conricote
Lead Pharmacy Technician
Sara brings 25+ years of retail pharmacy experience to the lead pharmacy technician position at Wedgewood Pharmacy. A lifelong resident of the Youngstown - Austintown area, Sara has a passion for customer service, problem solving, and is determined to make us your pharmacy of choice. Fun fact about Sara - she has the ability to remember and quote any and all episodes of "Friends", "Seinfeld", and many other sit-coms!
Adrianna Ruiz
Pharmacy Technician
"AJ" has over 7 years of pharmacy tech experience including the last three here at Wedgewood Pharmacy. AJ has really become a pro at getting to know and remembering little details about many of our customers. She spends a lot of free time being a mom to her furry little Shorkie named Oscar and enjoys the occasional trip down to the beaches in Florida.
Taylor Miller
Pharmacy Technician
Taylor is a former Columbiana Rite Aid pharmacy technician with a little over 5 years of experience. She loves reading Stephen King novels (her favorite is "IT") Tay also spent some time living in Cali where she worked for an independent pharmacy gaining valuable experience in compliance packaging. 2025 is a big year for Taylor as she will be getting married in the spring and heading to the Florida Keys for the honeymoon!
Becca Wood
Certified Pharmacy Technician
Becca came to us in the fall of 2025 with 6 years' experience in long term care pharmacy. Fun facts about Becca : she will be getting married in 2026, has an outfit for every holiday and although she's generally pretty quiet, has already earned the nickname, "Sassy on Saturdays."
Heidi Walter
Staff Pharmacist
Heidi is a University of Toledo graduate with over 30 years of experience in community retail pharmacy. She stays very busy working as a fill-in pharmacist at a couple of other Mahoning Valley independent pharmacies, so we only get her a couple days each month. She is also quite busy at home keeping in line 3 teenage boys!
Marci King
Pharmacy Technician
One of Wedgewood's newest staff members, Marci is from Pennsyltucky and currently lives up in Trumbull county, but we don't hold it against her. She loves interacting with people and has a passion for customer service. Marci loves her Pittsburgh sports and her soon-to-be second husband TJ Watt!
Ahmad Esmail
Pharmacy Technician
Ahmad brings 5 years of experience to Wedgewood Pharmacy, having also worked at Walgreens and Allen's Pharmacy. He is a Liberty grad and current nursing student at Kent St. Ahmad is always keeping it light and entertaining in the pharmacy as the self-appointed "CESN" and when he's not here, you can find him playing basketball or following his boy LeBron and the Lakers.

A Little History
Wedgewood Medical Center, originally built in the mid 60’s and vacant, which originally belonged to the renowned Austintown podiatrist David Ritchie, has a rich history. In 2019, we took over the space to establish the new home for Wedgewood Pharmacy, after identifying an unmet need for a community retail pharmacy in the area.
Our founder, who had been operating in Cornersburg for over a decade, explored several possible locations before deciding on this one. The Wedgewood Pharmacy building was vacant for years and in need of a facelift. So, after a proposal was made to the owner, we embarked on a 6-month renovation journey to create the perfect space for our pharmacy.
As we begin our 5th year of serving the community, we would like to thank all of our current customers and patients for their continued support and welcome any new ones looking for a pharmacy that will prioritize your family’s needs instead of being treated as an inconvenience or just a number.
